Revolutionary approach: lose your excess weight by bringing
a few changes into your life

At a time of technological achievements that facilitate human life, American civilization has become overweight, if not massively obese. In general, most business people live a very sedentary way of life.

There is a tremendous amount of advertisement today for people to lose their excess weight. Many companies try to vigorously promote their medications and systems developed for this very purpose. But they all confess that they cannot do anything for people who continue to follow the style of life they now have. In general, most people now lead a sedentary way of life. They can spend an entire day without any physical activity at all. Many people visit expensive sport clubs that feature training apparatuses, never realizing that they can burn the same amount of calories, and even lose about thirty-five pounds in a year, just by changing a small part of their way of life.

Many people are surprised by the fact that their ancestors had better health and lived much longer, despite that they didn’t have the modern facilities we now have. So, what was the elixir of life during those times? I’m certain their secret was a willingness to keep moving.
Try to think of the many movements you perform daily. Imagine your ordinary day. You get up and press your remote console, in order to switch on your television set. Then, you eat breakfast and drive your car almost to the doorstep of your office, after which you spend the whole day in front of a computer. You step onto an elevator to get to the lounge on a floor below. After your work day, you drive home and spend the rest of your evening in frond of your television. Am I right? I rather think this is a run-of-the-mill day for a lot of people.

But try to expand the range of your daily tasks and you’ll see the results in the near future. You burn calories while vacuuming, cleaning your room, watering flowers, washing dishes, etc.

Try to forget the elevator, at least for a little while. It’s very useful, indeed, to climb the stairs, and this activity helps to strengthen your leg muscles.

Don’t ask your husband or someone else to walk your dog. Do it yourself, breathing fresh air and enjoying all the beauty of nature. Don’t sit on a bench waiting for your dog to walk, throw sticks for it to chase or romp with it.

Spend your weekends doing something you like, other than sitting at a television or computer. Go to a museum, or a park, or the zoo. When you walk with your child, don’t just idly sit close by watching him or her, play with your child, play football, etc.

Most people don’t realize that they burn calories even while shopping. And don’t ask someone to carry your bags or suitcase. It’s a good opportunity to strengthen your body and burn calories.

When you have a free evening, switch on some music and dance as much as you like. It’ll raise your spirit, release you from stress, and promote calorie burning, too.

There are a lot of exercises designed specifically for business people. Many journals and books describe them. There are a number of exercises developed for performing, even while sitting at the computer, waiting for its screen changes, speaking by phone, etc. In other words, there are many exercises you can perform, for which you don’t need a separate room, much time or special conditions.

And I always recommend supporting your high spirits. Anything done in a good mood sees desired results. Try to laugh as much as you can, and let all your mornings begin with smile.
